Never tried converting a movie for my husband's IPod, but I would like to try before he has to take a long plane trip. Is this software easy enough to use and does it do the job well?
Any other software recommendations?
Thanks!

It is probably the best program I've used for transferring videos onto the Ipod. It's quick, simple to use and gives you a lot of control over the quality of the rip.
I'm not sure how much it costs but if it's not priced like Adobe products then it is worth every penny. Of course there are other ways to get it for less money...but I don't think I need to go into that.
Also if you ever get a MP3 player other than an Ipod it looks like CloneDVDmobile supports almost every type, though I'm not seeing an Ipod Touch setting. Could possibly be the same as the other Ipod settings or its incorporated into a newer version.

for someone that has not done any transcoding before, i recomend dvdfab decrypter as Zosoiv mention. Dvdfab decrypter will rip the movie out of a dvd and converted into ipod. it works great i have it.
