HEy guys i wanted to get some of your insight on dead pixels with LCD hdtv's. I currently have one dead pixel. How many would you tolerate before you return your set or how many would justify a return? thanks

Hi from reading around the web it would appear 6 is an approximate number.

However some companies have a zero dead pixel policy so it could be that.

Without a make and model its hard to say how many pixels is acceptable for that piece of kit.

Also is it definitely dead and not stuck. Might be worth having a look at the following to see if it helps at all:-

it appears to be dead. Its the Samsung 32" lnt3242h model. I have returned this model twice already because of issues of tearing but the ones manufactured after november work much better. I have no more issues of tearing but i do have one dead pixel. Im just wolndering if its worth the hassel again
