My Brand new external usb hard disk made by "Sumo" says it should have 320gb of memory in it but when i go to properties of the drive it says the maximum is 290gb. My 8gb memory stick pro duo is also new and exactly the same as above but has 3.54gb. Can anyone help please
thats what all things do i have a 500gb external hard drive and it says it has 420gb its because of formating and it has other partitions sometimes that tell info about the drive so theres nothing wrong with it and with the flash drive if you have data on it back it up then right click and format it may fix it probly not it shouldnt be that much of a differance
I have tried formatting it but it still says 3.54gb on my memory stick but I don't think that it is normal to lose more than half of the memory.
