the drive in my ibook is only a cd rom drive. no burner nothing. i have another lappy though, an acer aspire 3000, i was wondering if id be able to switch the drives? just take off the white cover for the apple drive and put it on the drive from my other lappy.
you should be able to switch them, as for swapping the white cover you'll have to pop both off and test it.
