I recently removed my second hard drive from my computer with Vista Ultimate and installed it into a new computer I built. I formatted the 160GIG with Vista Ultimate. Now when the new computer boots, it gives you two options to boot from during the post. Both Windows Vista. The second partition is like 9 gigs of waisted space. I tried to format that partition to get rid of it but its saying the partition is too small to do anything. Is there something Im missing? Bios? If I try to format the drive, theres that same partition of 9GIGS that just sits there. The worst part of it all is that during the POST, two options show. "CHOOSE OPERATING SYSTEM" 1.) WINDOWS VISTA 2.)WINDOWS VISTA. Anyone know what the heck is going on?

Just delete it. Or you can start from the beginning. Delete both. Then make a fresh new one with the max amount of space available and then format it and re-install vista and stuff.

    Good luck.
    Keep me posted

I tired to delete the 9GIG partition but its telling me that the partition is too small. I reinstalled WinXP Pro and it combined both partitions. Im thinking of formatting again with WinVista and see what happens..
    thanks for the help!
