I recently bought Call of Duty 4 and Crysis. I installed both and when tried to play them found that my graphics card would not support it. I have been looking for a new one but i am not sure on which one to buy. I think i need the most expensive one and ive looked into buying the ATI Radeon X1600 PRO. I wanted to know if anyone new which one to buy because i don't really want to spend loads of money on getting some really expensive one that is more than i need.

With Crysis there, there's no card that's "more than you need"
But I highly recommend getting an nVidia 8800 GT 512Mb. It's pretty close to the performance of the best Card 8800 GTX/ Ultra but at half the cost or less.

    Edit--
It would be useful if you posted the rest of your system specs.
running a system specs game for whatever games you need may help too:

should tell you where your system is lacking.
