Fedora 8

I got a problem, when i start to install i get this:

Please help, i am a newb at Linux

 

Try this at the first prompt.. when you get a line like "linux$:"

linux=noapic

Instead of just hitting enter..That should do it. It's a hardware issue. You may have to google for any specific fedora fixes for your hardware.

 

what first prompt? When i click install Fedora , it just loads all this and stops here.

 

You must be either hitting enter or waiting for 30 seconds at a prompt before you get to that error... otherwise it would not be telling you what to try on the line before the fatal error.
