Sorry for the delay in replying as I was offline tonight Are you sure you have you got the Eurov0x Max V 2008 model before I direct you to the latest firmware
Certainly have got the euro-vox max v 2008. Would need idiots instructions thou, not good at these sort of things, many thanks
Ok first ... you need a NULL MODEM CABLE to update your b0x http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=L71BT&DOY=2m6 If your pc does not have a serial port you will need a USB to serial port adapter to use in conjunction with the null modem cable. USB Adapter info http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx...t10&doy=search&MenuName=USB to Serial Adaptor These two cable links are only for reference as they can be purchased alot cheaper on fleabay. Second ... you can download KURO firmware from here http://eko.4shared.com/account/file...VOX_MaxV_Kuro_BETA2.html?sId=6fhSs8PlirPpKoTc Third ..You connect the Eurov0x to your PC and put it on stand-by , and run the KURO file you downloaded , Wait till its 100% complete and reboots before disconnecting and set back up to the TV Then you need to go to menu, config, clear data and then clear channel data. Then do an autoscan to get your channels
Hi Guys hope someone can help, just purchased a euro-vox maxV 2008. I received a cd with box and loaded software as per instructions. When i do a powerscan it scans threw all channells but then returns to home screen saying channel unavailble. box details are DUB-XC BoxV TDA 1.0 STC4 Oct29 2007 2.0T K5 Kuro It doesnt seem to store any channells and unfortunatley it seems may have the 8% problem. Quality jumps from 8 to 0 and back. Is there anything i can do?
Revert back to Kuro Beta 1 and then you may have a high signal in the 90s just use a 6 to 12Db attenuator and that should bring your signal back to optimum levels. But the easier option is to return it to where you bought it from and get a replacement, the manufacturers are aware of this 8% problem.
Have down loaded the new data, run a auto scan, and the channels are still the same, even some of the music channels are going, Any more advice?
Yep you will find it in Eamos FTA Library at the end of my post, in the Eurovox firmware folder it will be called Kuro Beta WS.
