My laptop is showing me this message when it starts booting Missing or corrupted system32\drivers\ntfs.sys. I was reading the info that microsoft gave at but i could not do what day said i am stack at the 5th step, do i type this cd \windows\system32\drivers like that or am i wrong ?
Ok but when i type the first command it says "the command is not recognized Type HELP for a list of supported commands." it looks like this: C:\WINDOWS>cd\windows\system32\drivers The command is not recognized Type HELP for a list of supported commands What could the problem be ?
http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000876.htm Try this link. Looks like a little different way to do the same thing. Also shows some other problems. Overheating hascaused most of my notebook problems.
Is it possible to take ntfs.sys file from another computer with the same windows and paste it on the laptop hard drive ?
