I have a Sansa e260 and I am trying to upload a video to the player. The video works fine on my computer, even after going through the Sansa Media Converter but when I playback on the player there is a lag... the video is faster than the audio... has anyone else had this problem?

I am assuming you are running your Sansa on the Sansa software ? Well there is your first mistake.... go an Rockbox that thing.... www.rockbox.org There are step by step instructions on how to Rockbox your Sansa... it is really quite simple...

You will not regret it ever, it is the best thing to happen to the sansa ! Believe me !

After you put the latest Rockbox on, there will be two settings when playing a video, I don't remember them exactally, but they are somethinglike skip frames and something else with frames (I don't have my Sansa near me, or I'd power it on and tell you) But it will be very obvious.

After that, your movies will be flawless !

I use mine for working out, and watch movies while on cardio machines... it is awesome

Use Super to convert to Sansa screen.

everything is there, you just have to dig and work at it... but the results are awesome

    Good luck

    BigDIsMe,

Now that you have rockbox-ed your Sansa, can you play videos from your micro sd expansion card? (*I've herd you can't watch videos or view pics from a sansa micro sd card pluggeg into the sansa expansion port, even with the latest sansa firmware)..
If Rockbox will let me play videos from my micro sd card, I'm gonna rock box my e250!!
Please let me know, and thanks,
    -Miker71

Yes, you can play videos from the expansion slot... I have a 2gig card in mine (Sansa e260r), holds 3 movies ;)

There are so many reasons to go Rockbox.... skins, full control of your mp3 player, etc...

    It is great !

I personally know of about 6 people who have gone the Rockbox route, and haven't looked back.

Before I Rockbox'ed mine, that was correct, you can't access videos on the expansion memory slot... :( hence one of the reason I Rockboxed mine, and they are constantly updating Rockbox daily... it is very easy to upgrade once you get there...

    enjoy

    BigDIsMe,

Thanks so much for the quick reply! I am very excited about the video playability option on the expansion card, - and rock-box allows you to play games on the thing too!!! As soon as I get a chance, I’m going to Rock-Box my Son’s & Daughters Sansa e250r’s !!!

    Thanks again,
    -Miker71

I am not a Rhapsody user, so I can't speak to that with confidence. But I will say this, I think it will.

Because when you plug your Sansa into your computer, it actually boots into Rhapsody mode, so Ithink Rhapsody will function just fine.

Your Sansa actually dual boots when Rockboxed, you can boot in Sansa or into Rockbox.
