I have a few questions about this:

    1: IS it legal
2: What does it do to make a router better?
3: Is there any versions that are compatible with linksys BEFW11S4?
4: If it isnt all that helpful can i reflash to my original firmware

Also, would it help with xbox live connectivitie if so how do i setup

    1. it is legal.. but not to linksys specs they dont want you putting diff firm on your router.
    2. it dose make it better buy letting you do more stuff with it like speeding up your wirles and getting the full effects of the router.
    3. check the site http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/ddwrt.php
    4. you can go back just save the copy of your firmware that you have on there now ...
IMPORTANT do not upgrade firm over a wifi connection you will brick it... do not interupt the upgrade. and make sure you have the right firm for that exact router.
