before i had a thread about hard drives and using 2 hard drives, but that changed and went off topic over the break so i made a new one. and i have a different problem too. well first, i have 2 partitions, and second one was corrupt so i deleted it, and made a new partition with a new OS on it. but all of my files are on the first partition (no OS on the first partition) including installed programs and such. but when i made a new OS and partition, none of the installed programs work anymore. is there a way to make it work without reinstalling everything? and do i also need to reinstall ALL of the drivers again?

Unfortunately, yes. Anything that doesn't work will need to be reinstalled. The files are fine where they are, but a lot of programs require values in the registry to run. Since the registry is obviously fresh with this install, the values won't be there.

    Yup, anything. That includes drivers.
