Hi, I know it sounds stupid but I was just wondering whether or not you can use your own postcode to find out your IP address. My friend doesn't have a computer but has the internet for Xbox Live and wants to know his IP address and NAT settings to configure the 360 to allow it.

Any help or confirmation on whether it works or not would be great thanks!

I am guessing you live in Britain where they have "postcodes", or maybe Canada. The answer is, no you can't use your postcode. Your friend should ask his ISP.

Yeah, it's Britain, thanks anyway - at least he knows you can't do it.
