Hi... i use TMPGEnc to convert AVI----> MPEG so that i can burn using my cd-burner.
My question is....is there anything else i need to set to improve the quality of the clips beside setting "Motion search precision" to Highest quality????

    Cheers :)

God no..... AVI is vastly superior in quality compared to MPEG so at the very least you will be degrading the quality. Secondly, as a general rule: CRAP IN = CRAP OUT. At the very BEST, the output will be the same as the input.
