I used to be able to access my belkin routers settings by typing my subnet mask ip in to a web Explorer, and then i turned off my NAT. Now i can not get in to my routers settings. I have hit reset many times and it has not fixed it. Can someone please help me get back into the settings.
I access my adsl-router by it´s own ip address. Usually it is subnets first or second address, 192.168.0.1 in my case.
Go to start then run in the box that comes up type cmd and hit enter. This will open a DOS prompt. Type ipconfig into the dos prompt and hit enter. You will then get three ips returned the one labelled default gateway is what you need to enter into a web address bar to access your router. The subnet mask is used to allow the comps routers to understand which comps are local and which are not.
no, i can't access it from typing the ip in the browser that is my problem, i have tried typing every ip from the ipconfig command and none of them take me to the settings.
