can anyone help me raid on this hellish mothrboard

    hi guys my brother got parts yesterday so i could build him his dream rig but i have hit a snag and its driving me around the bend am trying to raid 2 500gb WD Caviar SE16 drives on a JW-Ip35 pro (Not Abit) this is a new manufactor for this mobo i went to there web site http://www.jwele.com/motherboard_detail.php?id=91 and there was only chip set drivers lan and aduio but no raid i have a asus and on there site there is raid drivers anyways i would love to get this raided to vista 32bit ultimate but i cant find drivers and dont really wont to tell him to buy a raid controller after he has just spent 800 notes on this rig so plz any help would be great cheers

    No where on the website does it say that this motherboard has RAID. You will have to setup software RAID available in Windows Vista. You don't need any drivers to setup RAID in Vista.

    Unfortunately his PC has a budget grade low quality motherboard, so it will be lacking in features. You will have to setup software RAID.
    However, if I were you I wouldn't bother. You will be better off running the drives separately. Software RAID is slow, and RAID for two drives is usually not beneficial (especially avoid RAID 0).
