Newbie Questions

Hello,
I was wondering if you guys would mind just answering a few questions for someone who knows very little about this stuff but would like to participate?

I have irish NTL MMDS.

A friend of mine bought a Eurovox. He gets access to tons of channels etc... And so, I'm really interested in it.

However I'm thinkin that I'd really like to be able to record stuff.

So, first question is, is there a box out there that works with irish NTL MMDS that allows recording?

I see mention of the Starview.. but am not able to get a clear picture of what it is... some of the stuff I've found says its a PVR with a HD built in.. but then I found pages offering it as the new version "The Box" ?? with no mention of a HD... so are there more than one type of Starview? And will it work in my area?

The Box PVR hasnt been cloned, google wizardsatellites they are the main suppliers.

am I right in thinking then that I'd just whack a drive into it... and then i get the codes for scanning to get the 170 or so NTL channels from somewhere aroudn here then is it?
Or does it need a firmware download or something?

You will need firmware to flash to it, just come back here when you get it. Regards whacking a HD into it yep its quite easy to do.
