response time for gaming/sport

is there a visible difference between 4MS and 8MS in regards to response time....will be using LCD mainly for xbox360 and watching sports/dvds

just want to know if the extra dough for 4MS is needed? or 120Hz for that matter

 

its not needed not evan a difference . what monitor were you planing on getting?

 

i was looking at sharps that have 4ms or samsung/sony that have 8ms

 

samsungs interface is very nice they could get a little pricey tho have you ever looked into getting a hanns g ? they are very good and little in expensive. all are under 8ms..

ok well if you go that way id suggested a sony bravia. far better than alot of them out there.
