HI im new to this but can someone please tell me how to stop my starview box from freezing and pixulating i have tryed changing the software but no joy. if someone could help me i would be most greatfull.thanks

Press Menu > System Information and tell us what the API is please

Also

You will need to know if you have a clone or genuine

Count the vents on top

18x7 = Clone
25x7 = Genuine
13x7 = 1st Generation

its a clone 18/7 and its on v4.0

You will need to take v4.00 off it straight away and put the 2.57_FIXED for clones

i have reloaded with v2.57 fixed and the box still pixulates have you any idea what could cause this

If you are using a splitter , try it from the main feed

i have another box what im useing on the same cable and that works fine its just this box

Open up the box and look for any domed/bulging capacitors on the PSU board.
