tryin a jtag now, using jkeys it keeps sayin unknown device, and skymax keeps tellin me to restart cpu box

Still having problems. Where did you get the Jtag kit from and what model is the EV?

Strange usually comes with full instructions. Have you set your para port to bidirectional EEP and an IRQ of 378?

just looked in the bios and my port was set to ecp.

Bi directional and it should have an IRQ of 378.

Just set it to that now, still the same thing, i have the thing on the 20 pin header red wire to the left and the 3.3 volt clip on the diode.

One thing before we go any further have you checked the C14 capacitor on the PSU board is it domed/bulging?

your gonna kill me, lol the header pin was on the wrong way. hehe. But it was the bi-directional thing that did it your a star sc0use.
eurovox box jtagged (free of charge of course , thats what this site is about) i'm in the cabinteely area in dublin. Drop me a PM.
