Questions About User Accounts

I only had one user account on my laptop, recently a lot of programs havent been working properly: like itunes, firefox, outlook, i have fixed firefox and have tried doing a system restore but it didnt work. i was wondering if i made a new user account and the programs worked fine on the new account. i was just wondering if i could just delete my first account?

 

Yes, you could delete it, but be sure the second account also has administrative privileges.
