Downgrade Form Ultimate To XP

    Help. What Can i do. Im not great on comps to be honest. So whats the easiest way to get rid of vista and put my XP back. my specs are Field Value
    Operating System Microsoft Windows Vista Professional Pretty sure its (ultimate)
    CPU Type AMD Athlon XP, 2200 MHz (11 x 200) 3200+

    Motherboard Name Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe (5 PCI, 1 AGP Pro, 1 WiFi, 3 DDR DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN)
    Field Value
    Motherboard Chipset nVIDIA nForce2 Ultra 400
    Field Value
    System Memory 1024 MB (PC3200 DDR SDRAM)


    The reason im downgrading is vista wont let me play games because my motherboard aint compatiable ? a think? PLEASE HELP ME GET RID OF VISTA.

    ive read a thread on how to do this on afterdawn somewhere.have a browse.something to do with xp drivers.

    Cheers mate. Aoppreciate it. as long as its not too hard ... i cant be arsed doing all too much bios ..Vista is crap!

    just go to top of afterdawn homepage.where it says search.type in downgrade from vista to xp.theres loads of info there mate :)

    should be able to just reformat your HD and install a fresh copy of XP.

    did it on my computer when vista started to act up. just make sure you save all your important files to a external drive, or USB stick, because everything on your HD will be erased.

    okay cheers sso justback up and then reformat? how do completly reformat mate?

    if you boot with an XP cd when you install it, you should have an option to reformat the HD your installing it on so you can choose if you want any partitions. once you reformat, your old OS, vista, should be completely gone.
