    Steps Involved

    1 put cd in tray
    2 shutdown computer
3 restart computer and boot into bios
4 go to boot devices and select the cd-rom (what ever your cd dvd drive is)
5 save and exit bios then you should have to press enter ( or delete or whatever your confirmation key is)

6 Follow on screen instructions and your ready to go

    hope this helps

If your computer came with a Windows XP CD or you bought Windows XP, then simply insert that disc, restart your computer, and when it boots up it should present you with a recovery menu from which you can select to restore your computer to Factory Settings.
