Hi. I was recommended by a friend to come here for help as he tells me it's a very helpful place. i'm looking to get a laptop, and having no experience in pc's, i thought i would get some help from people who know a thing or 2. My budget is £500, and i've managed to get my choices between these 2 laptops ( although i'm open to other suggestions), the Samsumg R60 and the Samsung R60+. I'll mainly be using the laptop for animation like Flash and After Effects, so power would be good, but of course i can only get so much with my budget. Out of these 2 laptops which would be the better purchase, or are there better ones for the price? Any help would be appreciated.

Well from my research, the R60 has a single core processor, and the R60+ has a duel core, so I would already go for the R60+. It also has a larger hard drive, so all in all the R60+ would be the best between the 2.

cheers for the info. a friend has just recommended a Toshiba A210-17l, which for the price seems like it is also i good way to go. Now just a case showing them to my girlfriend who the laptop is for and her deciding which one she likes better. Once again thanks for the help.
