Hi i bought a router yesterday its working as in i can get pages up internet is grand in that sense problem is even when im only using it on my pc no other devices on (PS3 XBOX) i cant download movies and the sites i down them from say im unconnectable any help be very rateful thanks
did you buy the router used because it might have a block on the sites you download the movies from and if your connecting from a cable modem is the router set to ppope or dhcp ?
make model of router and isp please. Router may have ports blocked, try hard reset (e.g. linksys has button for this) or your isp may have started "blocking" some traffic e.g. see comcast news on this site.
yea that could be true but i have comcast and i have nuthing blocked here. might be because im behind two routers tho
Jackill - it sounds like you simply havent set up port forwarding on your router as most torrent clients require nowadays otherwise you show up as unconnectable. Go to Portforward.com and follow the instructions for your specific router.
