Connection Problems...Limited or no connectivity

I connected a new computer to my router and the router is not assigning the computer an ip address and it is comming up with the "limeted or no connectivity" error. I need some help.

 

"limited or no connectivity" just means that the network doesn't have internet. Try going into the network adapter properties, and clicking Repair.

 

That never works for me, but thanks. I fixed it tho.

 

What did you do to fix it?

Just in case someone has this same problem in the future. The first thing I'd check is to make sure that the IP is NOT set to static then check for corrupted ethernet drivers.
