My mp4 player has a 9.0.52 firmware. I want a firmware that allows me to change my mp4 players theme and background, etc. Which firmware is suitable for my mp4 player's firmware without wrecking it, and where do i get it? I have heard of some firmwares like action and rockware. Will those work?

    Help pls..

I don't even know what kind your mp4 player is.
    Specify the brand, model, etc.

    Help, Please!
I have the same player. Looks "exactly" like a Nano 3 Ipod. I need the original firm. (9.0.52 but not sure) Mine is dead.
    You can see it here:

    http://www.yoreparo.com/foros/mp3_mp4_ipods/243689.html?p=880710#880710

    It is:
    Screen:
    PY-1328W 1.8 2P RFD 071130

    Chipset:
    HYNIX KOR
    HY27UU08AG5M
    TPCB 751A
    MTUJ77150

    Any chance of getting it?
    Thanks!

Need a little more info to help you out. Look for a model number or something.

You both bought Chipods. They are cheap knock off of mp3 players made in China. They are junk! There is a site that might help you but usually it is a waist of time to even try to revive it. It always means taking them apart. Even if you can get it working again they usually die again. I would bother but you can search for the word 'chipod' in this forum. There will be plenty of suggestions and reformatting your disk, etc. a few months ago (Sept-Dec)
