Xvid movie choppy

    Hello,

    I just finished downloading this Xvid movie and it is playing choppy.

    The sound is great, no problems (ac3 sound) the video is choppy and I have no idea why.

    Does anyone know what I should do to fix this.

    I have tried re-encoding this movie as a DIVX, no luck.

    Any other ideas?

    I doubt that it is my computer. I have never had this problem before.

    I think it could be the codec, but I use the standard XVID codec.

    Any other ideas?

    I had the same problem with a new xvid movie. Installing the latest codec fixed it. The sound was perfect, but the video was really choppy before.

    Is there any program that can clean up or improve Divx/Xvid quality?
