I've had some problems with a NTSC dvd,
my pc could not read it, but my Xbox could (no scratches, only flaw I can see is if I put my finger through center ring, it's not all that smooth, little rough there),
so I ripped it with DVDdecrypter to my hard drive (with my Xbox dvd-drive), but when I open the IFO with DVDx 2.10, it does not start at the beginning,
so I made a new IFO with IFOedit, but then DVDx says it's 29,97 fps...
and when I set it to 23,976 fps the rip (to DivXavi, cause the DivX de-interlace seems to be the best compared to the internal one of DVDx (which only interpolate does the trick) and the one of Xvid (doesn't change anything!?)) is all bad, no fluent, blanks in audio...
so what should I try? a different dvdripper, like SmartRipper 2.41 ?
well no help here I guess, forum full of noobs ?
just kidding... NOT ;-)
ripped it again with DVDfab, after opening IFO in DVDx it started at beginning now,
but frame rate was 29.97 fps (according to DVDx), but found the solution, just had to check force 24 HZ, that did the trick,
now the audio is synchronous,
