    Hi yall !

What is according to you the best Blu-Ray player for TV so far ?

Currently I'm using the PS3 to play Blu-Ray because :

    - The PS3 supports a wide range of formats (WMVHD, etc). Moreover I can mix HD and SD files on a single BDR and they will play no problem on the PS3. It will just ask me to chose which movie I want to load.
    - The menus and fonts are very beautiful
    - The firmware updates allow the PS3 to support always more movie formats !

Most of the Blu-Ray players I saw don't have all of these advantages :
    - they don't support a lot of movie formats
    - if a BDR is not burnt like a Blu-Ray disk is supposed to be (ie. with all those dedicated directories) it will refuse to play. Whereas with the PS3 I can just copy HD files on the root directories and they will play.
    - firmware updates only correct minor bugs but don't add support for more file formats. Maybe because they want to add this on their newer models !!!!

For the updates alone, I'm a fan of the PS3 as the player.
