i had just figured out how to use my chinese mp4 player, and loaded most of my music onto it, when it went dead. i think it went dead. the most it will do is just sit there with an hourglass on the blank screen. the buttons are unresponsive. anyone know what this means and how to fix it? i would be grateful.

its an 8 gig no-manufacturer white + black (white with like a black racing stripe deal around the screen). it played the music great when it worked. luckily i didnt pay too much for it. lol
WOW! mine is an 8 GB tooo! i asked one of my friends to look at it, and he said, on the driver disk, there should be a utilities program that should somhow reset the settings and it sold work. i had no idea what he was talking about so i left itwith him. ill let you know how it turns out.
Well, i have bad news. I just ended up sending it back to china. (SOOOOOOOO Disaaspointing!!!) but thanx for at leats letting me know its a common problem! spygaget ps. My freind got one for herself last week and the same thing happened to her! (Peice of trash(THE MP4))
