Around Christmas time, I got a TLX-03210B 32 inch 720P TV, and shortly afterwards got Time Warner Cable. My only problem so far is that, for all the codes I've found that turn the TV on or off on the DVR remote that Time Warner gave me, none of them work for the video source, which means I have to keep my TV remote on hand only to switch the inputs, but I can't record with that one, so I need both. Does anyone know the proper code to use all the features with my new remote? Model of my new remote is AT8560 with the 8300HD DVR.

    Can anyone help?

Well, still no joy on my end. I've found codes that makes the source selection screen come up, but won't let you change it. The up and down buttons don't work with those ones.

I know on my tv, I can actually press the numbers on the remote that correspond with the input source is that an option in your case?

Just tried that. No, afraid not. You have to push video source and then the up and down arrows.

You can get a new tv. I got a polaroid46" and it died after 3 months the tv shop thats trying to find replacement parts cant find any. they also said that polaroid tvs make a better boat anchor than a tv.

Why would I get a new one? The TV is working great, other than the annoyance of having to use the original remote to switch inputs.

On the other hand, I also can't get my TW remote OR my TV remote to work my DVD recorder, which is a cyberhome.

Is there a universal remote that's upgradeable to do these things anywhere? That you can download patches for or something?
