I bought a Western Digital 1 TB external hard drive. The default is Fat32 and I was trying to change it to NTFS. In the process of doing so I right clicked the drive in the computer management window and accidentally clicked "Delete Volume" and the drive disappeared. How do I get my computer to recognize the device again? I am using Windows Vista Home Premium OS

(I tried unplugging it and re-plugging it back in, it did not help.)

Deleting the volume should only mean the drive will disappear in my computer. If you go to disk management, the drive should appear but without a partition, so make a new NTFS one using it.
