    Hey People,

I was wondering if you could tell me about the architecture of OS X (Leopard). I know XP is built in Layers like User mode and Kernel Mode. I also know that XP uses HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer), A piece of software that sits between XP and the hardware, because XP does not directly communicate to the hardware, it goes to the HAL and makes the HAL do it. Things like this. I'm wondering HOW Leopard works. Any responses from any Die hard Mac fans would be greatly appreciated.
