How do I update my video card bios. I heard if you update its bios, it becomes faster. My video card is the ASUS EAH3870 512MB.
It doesnt "automatically" become faster - infact it doesnt become any faster. The newer BIOS flash just allows you to overclock the card past 860Mhz - which is pretty useless with the stock cooler.
If I'm honest, there's no reason for anybody to flash their graphics card BIOS unless they're a hardcore overclocker, and even then I don't know if the 3870 gains anything from doing it.
Well the only reason why I would want to do it (still not able to, I need a USB key) is to add a couple points onto my 3dmark06 score, as I see other people with 900Mhz and up on the GPU hitting over 21k!
