DVD+ PS2 Backup game problem

I ripped a PS2 DVD game to a DVD+ cd. my playstation2 with chip (I don't know what kind) won't play it. The playstation2 does play backup nonDVD games and backup DVD+R backup movies. What could be wrong? It seems like it's trying to read it but it does not come on. Any ideas?

Get a PS2 Laser Cleaner.Run that through it might just be dirty.It happen to me.My Ps2 would play CD-R games & DVD+R Movies.But not DVD-R Games.It fixed it up.Try That..Later
