Is it a Starview 1 or the SV2 called "The Box"?

It's called "The Box"

I kept looking around at other Threads and I got it working but I only have a few chanels. Most of them are still scrambled. I'm assumming I just have to get the right codes downloaded??

Have you flashed it? Press menu and system info and post what it says also make sure your key emu is on, press menu type 1570 on remote and check it.

If you cannot get into the emu screen you will need to flash your box, unfortunately I have to leave but have a look around all the info is here for you.

LOL I am still here, but am getting an ear bashing from the Mrs really do have to go :)

If you can get the emu on then that is good news just do an autoscan on your provider, best of luck. Also make sure you have the coax in the cable in port on the back of the box.

You've been told on the other thread you posted on I also sent you a PM offering all the help you need.

You don't seem to listen so why should we?

Provided you have the latest firmware for your box press menu on your remote and key in 1570 then scroll down to key emu (at the bottom) and use the > arrow on the remote to turn it on.

If you're not sure if you have the latest firmware go to9 menu system info and post here what it says and you will be advised accordingly.

Can anyone help! Been using starview box for a year now with no problems until a short while ago channels went off and now says no signal, i have tried putting the cable into the back of the tv also to check the feed is ok but nothing there either so that rules out a problem with the box, only thing i can think of is my live feed from the cable box has been finally switched off (i dont pay for any cable services by the way) anyone have any other ideas.

ok if yor sisters box is starview 2(the box) she should have v450 for Ireland or v451 for the uk you said you updated your own box so you should be familiar with the process you will find all you need in here look in "the box" firmware
