Is there any certain way to make a backup
not running prorams in theback (like for dvd's)
i have cyberlink hidef suite
-cyberlink power producer
can we use as burning program
how do we compress the 50gb to 25gb
OR
are we able to do that yet
is there any other third party software available to burn bd discs
other than nero
please update and help

Nero 8 is the only one I know to burn BD-R media as for compressing a 50GB disk down to 25GB no known software yet.
PS.. Did you like your list for BDMV's on single layer disks..??

Personal Method.
Rip movie with AnyDVDHD.
Burn Movie onto BD-R using Nero 8 as a UDF 2.5 Compliant Disk.
Play back on PS3.

i have tow questions
one is
no progras running whlile bd-r ing
is that true
second one is on these 25gb discs
some o fthese are 24.50gb
it means does it fit on a 25gb
don't we need 2.5-3.5gb to finalize the disc

yes it will be same as originals
if we have 25gb or 50 gb blankys we can fill it up
or keep it in hd drive
now it may be different from disc to disc studio to studio
protection(like reg dvd's some may have problems ripping and some don't thatswhy we gather here to teach eachother and learn from others) but most of them shhould work
