ok, these are my basic system specs. i have a laptop, Dell Latitude D520.

    Vista Ultimate
    2GB RAM
Intel core 2 duo @2.00 GHz each
mobile intel 945 express chipset family (driver version 7.14.10.1409)
    32-bit OS

as you can tell, i do not meet the minimum system requirements for crysis. when i start the game up normally, i get the "unsupported video card" message.

HOWEVER, i CAN run it (the first level for now) under 3D Analyze, with actually pretty good speed. In 3D Analyze, i have *emulate HW TnL caps* and *force high precision Pixel Shader* and *force low precision pixel shader* checked.
there are some major graphics issues, though. the water is only one shade of blue, no depth to it AT ALL, or texture to it.
The sky is just black, and only part of it turns white when lightning flashes.
And the most annoying part to me, whenever you look down, the HUD turns a streaked brown and it looks like there are "4-wheeler" tracks across the screen. this ONLY happens when you look down.

Also, when i try to set my shader options to MEDIUM in-game, it instantly crashes the game.

i know my graphics stink pretty badly, but is there a way to fix these graphics issues by tweaking somehow? i mean, if 3D Analyze can allow me to play the game, there must be a way to fix graphics issues. is it a shader problem/texture problem, or something else?

Your on-board Card doesnt support Hardware T&L,
You can replace the shaders and such , where you can get the game to run,
But there is no way that I know of to emulate the T&L hardware
that is NOT present on your card.

3D Analyze can try emulate to it but that results in the problem your seeing.

No real way that I know of to fix except get a card
that supports T&L and meets the game requirments.

    Good luck
