If this is the wrong forum I will apologize up front. If so, if you could kindly point me in the correct direction I would be most grateful. When playing MAME games that use a CHD file the games are very jerky and VERY slow to respond. I have been searching the web and have seen various posts but nothing really conclusive. Could it be a hardware issue? I have a AMD 2400+ w/ 1 Gb of RAM. Is this not enough? Should I uncompress the CHD files? Should I investigate my software set-up? I am coning crazy as one of my favorite games Gauntlet Dark Legacy is currently unplayable. Thanks.
