I used Avi2dvd for the first time yesterday, I had an .avi of Shrek Der Dritte (The Third), and I left it encode overnight using the default (Quenc) encoder. I woke up this morning, and used nero to burn the ISO image (As I do not know how to burn the video and audio TS). I put the dvd in my dvd player, and it loads up to the menu I created instantly, which is great, but when I click on the 'chapters' button, it plays the movie from the start as if I had pressed the 'play' button. I selected the 'chapter every 5 mins' and there are distinct chapters, as I can press the chapter forward button.

The 'Play' button works fine, but mid-movie, if I return to the main menu, and hit play, it will go back to the point in the movie I stopped it from, which is fine, but it will have no sound when it returns to that point. (I have no menu mp2), any help is appreciated.

    Try using DVD Flick instead.
It is a newer program and has less problems turning out a satisfactory product.
It optionally creates a menu item for each title added.
Remember to read the short guide that comes with the program - and set the output for PAL or NTSC.
