Not sure if this is placed under the right category. Move it if need be but i thought I'd start a thread where people could post trustworthy sites where i and others could buy new pc parts online. I'm mainly targeting ones that deliver to Australia so plz specify the currency the site is set in or multi currency like international eBay and where they can ship/deliver to or the main place they ship/deliver to

AND ONLY TRUSTWORTHY ONES not yelling etc. just making sure ppl remember that point (:

All UK sites that deliver to the UK:
http://www.ebuyer.com/
http://www.scan.co.uk/
http://www.dabs.com/
http://www.microdirect.co.uk/
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/
http://www.saverstore.com/

All in order by my own personal preference (top being the best) but all trustworthy. Dave!

Another one for the UK is www.aria.co.uk - often have some very good prices and are usually at least in line with scan and ebuyer etc, however I personally usually use ebuyer purely because they offer free delivery when you spend £50.

aria are good, btu there range kind of sucks. Overclockers, scan, and ebuyer have the biggest range, and from them i would recommend both overclockers and scan.

Ive always found Overclockers to be the most expensive out of the English sites.

Yes. Overclockers have the VERY latest items, but expect to pay a premium.

agreed, btu most of the time they lower those prices, when more stock is available to other shops in the UK. i guess you pay a price for getting stuff first.

Ebuyer and Scan are typically cheapest and have the biggest range. The customer service of both is satisfactory but not exemplary. Aria are quite cheap, their range is very poor, but their customer service is excellent. Dabs and MicroDirect are cheap, and are punctual for sending out orders, but neither will accept returns unless taken to court. Almost all of this lot use Citylink exclusively, with the exception of Microdirect who use Amtrak. In my experience, Citylink are mediocre, but Amtrak are significantly worse, often getting "lost" or forgetting to deliver your stuff.
Specialtech and KustomPCs are great for more exclusive gear, but cost significantly more than most other places. Both have excellent customer service, and use the Interlink Express courier - far better than Citylink or Amtrak on punctuality, care and service.
Overclockers UK are more expensive but usually get top notch stuff in first. Their customer service is mediocre, and their dispatch times are very variable. If you can't get it anywhere else, go here, otherwise there are better merchants out there. OcUK also use citylink.
Specialist shops like WatercoolingUK and QuietPC offer very specific parts, but usually at relatively decent prices. The customer service of both is exemplary. WatercoolingUK will also import anything from the US site performance-PCs.
