my teacher was telling me about a Program for Ubuntu 8.10. i have the program, but i'm having problems installing it. if i could get some help, i'd be grateful.
What is the program? ndiswrapper? What are your problems? Do you know why you want or need to install it? Have you searched the Ubuntu forums or even Google? If you're going to create a thread, at least be descriptive, and if you're going to try to be l33t and use Linux to show off to your friends, learn how to use a search engine first. If you can at least demonstrate that you've lifted a finger in trying to solve the problem yourself and can post what you've tried and your error messages it would help immensely. Sigh, posting before searching is all too common around here; it pains me to help, but i'll pass you the link where i spent ages on ndiswrapper for someone - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/563575 - there's no way on earth you can't get it configured after reading that. What i won't do is help you on the installing of ndiswapper; that you can easily figure out for yourself.
