I have a Compaq presario f730us laptop and was wondering how to downgrade it to xp. The XP drivers aren't on the site anymore so I don't exactly know how to go about this. any help would be appreciated

It's a lot more complicated than just booting to an XP install disk, given that finding the right XP drivers is a pain in the neck. Here are some links that may help you. Once I get home, I plan on trying to do the downgrade following these instructions (starting with first set and if that doesn't work, doing the second, etc.). Let me know if you have any luck!

I got every thing but the audio drivers to work. they won't work using the force install method because high definition audio bus is not listed in the device manager
