starview the box pvr in ireland?

just wondering about the starview 2 "the box" as a pvr device in ireland.will it record as it says like sky+ does?
obvioulsly i know i need the one with the hard drive,does anyone have one?are they worth the bobs?
theres ones on ebay for £190 with a 160gb HDD

if i was to buy one of these pvr boxes without a hardrive in it already,is it fairly straight forward to put one in myself?
ive put one into a desktop pc before,am i qualified?lol!
regular computer harddrive is it?

 

As said I dont have one myself and I directed you to the info. BTW google wizardsatellites they are the main suppliers for the PVR.
