Nero 8 InCD on CD Drive Locks Up

    I have Nero 8 installed with InCD.
    When I attempt to access my ASUS CD-S480/AH, Windows Explorer locks up.

    I checked the system logs and the following message appears:
    Timed out sending notification of target device change to window of "WndClass_CWinDrivesNotifyerHelperWindow"

    I also found that if I remove InCdpass from the UpperFilters and reboot, my CD works fine.

    Anybody know why InCD is locking up?

    INCD conflits with many programs

    uninstall it and run the clean tool

    Yes, that will remove it.
    But I'm just curious why InCdPass doesn't pass control to the system routines, rather than just locking up the Computer.
