Workaround for Vista?

Yes, you can do a fresh install of Vista Upgrade and not enter a serial number. You'll basically have a 30 day trial version. Next, perform the upgrade on the trial version and you'll be able to use the serial number from the upgrade disc to validate it. I've tested it in a virtual machine and it does work.
