If you got a tdk dvd-r 16x disc and theres a black printed "serial" in the center ring you maybe dont have any information left on that disc if it's about a year old.
If there is a transparent stamp in the center ring your most certainty safe.



All the disc was 100% perfect in a surfacescan/sectorscan after burning. now 1 year later they cant even be sectorviewed in isobuster.

What is the manufacturer code on these disks? My guess is they are CMC-MAG disks. Run them thru Nero and see what they code out as.

Don't bother.. I was burning them (clear markings) while out last week.. 80% failure rate.. 30% would not even burn without errors.

They must be cmc-mag to be that useless...

Had the "no data after storage" lots with the 2x and 4x tdk's as well.. Seems a common fault with this brand/overprint on cmc.

yeah 95% of the TDK media is cmc mag people hsve to learn the hard way i guess . using Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim should be your only choice next time

This isn't news. TDK is notorious for using CMCMags.

Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

The manufacture code is TTH02.

The differents is the marking on the silver ring on my disc is
