I’m a newbie at downloading BitTorrents, use a program called Azureus to download from a web site called http://thepiratebay.org

Recently I downloaded a torrent named "The Madonna.The.Confessions.Tour.2007.NTSC.DTS-ONLY.DVDR-DTS"
The next day I had in a sub-folder which contained files named "CONFESSIONS-DTS.part001.rar" thru "CONFESSIONS-DTS.part094.rar".

There's also 1 file named "Madonna.Confessions-dts.nfo" and 1 file named "Madonna.The.Confessions.Tour.2007.NTCS.DTS-ONLY.DVDR-DTS.sfv"
I have no idea what those files are.

I searched and read found a similar post regarding these .rar files but nothing about the .nfo or .sfv files.

I’d really appreciate any help the guru’s who hang out here can give me.

Thanks, Mike

Invest in and use DVD+-RW disks as you burn and learn.
Use high quality media after you understand the process.
Try to have fun learning to Rip & Burn and not get to frustrated.
Remember that the Addicts and Moderators weren't born with those titles, they earned em! They're good people to hang out with and learn from.

Files are compressed for easier distribution on the tracker.
Unzip the compressed files using programs " winzip "

http://www.afterdawn.com/software/deskto...ools/winzip.cfm
or "7-zip."

http://www.afterdawn.com/software/deskto...tools/7-zip.cfm

.sfv files are part of the compression ,

and the .nfo files can be open as a text file under notepad.
And can be compared to a readme file or something of the sort,
