Ahhhhhh! Ive tried almost ecerything! My player says it is absolutely vcd 1.0 & vcd 2.0 compliant. OK it plays all the originals. But every way I try & make a back up copy, it is severely jerky. I have now got placemates (6cdr's/mat) & matching coasters for a party of about 20. So come on over!! My best copy has been on the cheapest of cdrs...Using Nero but make sure the burn rate is x4, Disk at once, & standard cd compliant boxes are checked. I dont know if this made much difference but its the closest Ive been to sustaining a vcd which would rate a 3/10. Why is it that the original can play in my PC & my friends DVD but my stand alone VCD just cant hack it, reminding you that the originals are fine. The old VHS tape looks like it will remain in this little black & blue ducks nest for a while yet. I would appreciate any light that can be thrown onto this murky pond. QUACK!
